It is the policy of Coach Direct Ltd that at all times its trips/tours are carried out in such a way to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the provision of a safe and healthy environment for all its employees and all persons likely to be affected by its operations, including clients, employees, sub-contractors and staff. Our COP Safety Management System will improve safety within the industry and we intend to use only professional operators that are complying with our COP. The code, which we refer to as our Code of Safety Practice, is currently comprised of a 25-page document and an additional set of Appendix documentation that helps the approved operator to carefully monitor and track the level of their operational and client services offered.

All Operators are expected to manage their transportation services not only in strict compliance with all applicable UK safety/transportation related legislation, but also to comply with the safety performance standards outlined in this Code, which in many respects, will exceed statutory duties and responsibilities.

Our current Code of Safety Practice can be viewed and downloaded from this page along with any current Appendix documentation applicable to our quality scheme. This Appendix documentation has been made available purely as support material, and should be viewed and used as such by Coach Direct Quality Approved Operators.
